In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 carpooling and ridesharing apps in Cyprus exhibited diverse trends in their weekly downloads, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a steady climb in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at around 741 downloads in the last week of December 2021, the app experienced a dip in January, bottoming out at approximately 391 downloads in the week of January 17. However, it rebounded strongly in March, peaking at 849 downloads in the final week of the month.

Uber - Request a ride also demonstrated an upward trend in weekly downloads. The app began the quarter with 304 downloads in the last week of December 2021 and saw consistent growth, reaching 408 downloads by the end of March 2022.

Beat Passenger: Find your ride showed a significant increase in downloads over the quarter. Starting with 84 downloads in the last week of December 2021, the app's downloads surged, peaking at 283 in the final week of March.

Careem – rides, food & more experienced more modest growth. The app started with 69 downloads in the last week of December 2021 and reached a high of 79 downloads in both the weeks of March 14 and March 21.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery had a varied performance in weekly downloads. The app started with 118 downloads in the last week of December 2021 but saw fluctuations throughout the quarter, with the lowest point being 41 downloads in the week of February 28.
